The urgency of attending to the multiple tasks in air travel is tasking for all but the seasoned or accompanied traveler.  Issues of high demand for in-the-moment attention are involved by airport authorities, federal and airline protocols, and for naive domestic and international personas.  This demands a logical placement of icons on tickets and boarding passes, branding for the stakeholder and ease of carrying by the passenger.

High cognitive patient requirements while relying on a physician's collaboration resulted in the prototypes of two separate research  efforts to be similar on important issues yet designed differently on several visual and interaction levels.

Adaptive Little Monsters Plush toy

A child's plush soft companion toy. Toys are usually focused as educational tools with somewhat entertaining attributes with little capacity for easy portal and no adaptive learning opportunities. This toy offers programable adaptive language feedback to follow the learning and aging cadence of the child while endearing the child to the toy for many years past the initial enjoyment.

Immersive Beatles Facial Recognition

The Beatles archive is a well loved musicology with our target audience. Choosing to utilize Facial Recognition as an immersive entertainment, algorithms in Processing 2.0 promise an engaging first impression, this well loved music was deployed for an exercise in programming and immersive interaction.

The setup is simple; Users are  viewed with the computer camera, as they initiate clicking on each Beatle an iconic view of their facial feature appears. A public installation involves the same technology within a well designed exhibit space as background shapes interfere with facial recognition technology.
